These options are for the address bar search and the search bar.
| If you use ENTER in the search bar Maxthon uses these options. If you press the icon with the globe + magnifier or SHIFT + ENTER the search will be performed by the items in the drop down menu of the globe icon. Then it's possible to search with multiple search engines at once. |

- Alias
- This is the shortcut you can use to do a search with this search engine.
For example: 'imdb star wars' will perform a search in the IMDB.com database if you have set the alias IMDB and the engine: http://www.imdb.com/find?q=%s
- Engine
- This is the search engine you would like to use. Use %us (support searches in non-latin signs) or %s for the keyword variable.
- Automatically highlight keywords after webpage is fully loaded
- Highlight the keywords you entered in the search bar or address bar on the page.
You can also toggle this option on the search bar.
- Show Search box drop down when typing search words
- Show the list with search engines when you type keywords in the search bar so you can easily select the right search engine for a search.
