This website looks funky. What's up with that and can I fix it ?

Many old websites are engineered with outdated standards. This often results in old sites failing to display, displaying with broken features (like shopping carts) and even crashing the browser. It's funky in a bad way. Not Maceo funky good.. The new Maxthon 3 has one-of-a-kind solution to recognize these outdated websites and solve the problem: Retro Mode. Retro Mode usually works automagically. But some web pages (and web programmers) are too funky for even the best software to recognize. If you run into a stubborn, strange page, try manually clicking the button to the right of the Address bar to switch to Maxthon 3 Retro Mode. That should fix the page. Click to switch back to Ultra Mode. Maxthon 3 will then remember the correct mode for future visits.

Hiding and showing your favorites bar

There are two ways to show/hide your favorites bar:

1.Shortcut key: Ctrl+B

2.Click the menu button and then click show/hide favorites bar.

How to change your browser skin

Maxthon comes preloaded with two skins. One is our Modern skin. That is the default. The other is our classic skin. Click the menu button, and click 'switch skin' to change them. Keep an eye out for new skins, too.
